Mini Club Timomo & friends

Veranda Resorts has developed its own concept of the mini club to look after children from 4 to 12 years old. This concept is based around a character called Timomo, a funny Mauritian bird which looks like a green parrot with a yellow beak. Timomo goes off in search of treasure at the end of the rainbow. This search takes him on a tour of the island where he meets his friends at each of the Veranda Resorts hotels. Everyone helps him in his quest only to discover that he already possesses the most beautiful treasures in the world: generosity and friendship!

Seven colours SPA - The largest Spa village of the Indian Ocean area
Dedicated to treating both body and spirit, the Seven Colours Spa, the concept of Véranda Resorts, is an oasis of tranquillity, authentic and refined.

This unique spa village of cabins in ochre tints, draped with gossamer veils balancing delicately on the refreshing breezes… the African inspired décor surrounded by plants, water features and cascades and exuberant blooms of island flowers.

The Seven Colours Spa with a floor area of 3,000m2 has 20 treatment rooms, 7 massage rooms of which 3 are double, and 2 massage kiosks on the beach, affusion showers, steam baths(hammam) attached to 2 treatment cabins, a huge sauna with a cold water pool, a pool with eddying currents, divans in kiosks especially provided for relaxation, and one consulting room where tailor-made treatment programmes can be discussed. Also 1 fitness centre and 1 hair salon.
The Spa is open daily from 09.00 a.m. to 09.00 p.m. Access as from 16yrs.

The Seven Colours philosophy

Inspired by ancient oriental philosophies based on the seven centres of energy – the charkas – 7 colour rituals have been supplemented with art to stimulate our inner resources and to rediscover complete harmony between body and spirit.

The Seven Colours rituals, Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red each comprise 4 complementary treatments : the adjustment of energy, massages, treatment of the body and the face… a complete range of massages, such as the Balance massage (Green), gentle and rhythmic to improve blood circulation, or the Harmony massage (Indigo) which caresses the body with vigorous sweeping strokes.

A consultation forms part on one’s first visit, allowing the therapist to define the dominant colour for each client…. their “chromatic personality” and to determine which rituals are appropriate.

Golf Du Chateau - A unique golfing experience
A new championship golf course on Mauritius, in the heart of the unspoiled south.

Attached to the Heritage Golf & Spa Resort hotel, the magnificent 18 hole “Golf du Château” golf course which covers 100 hectares, is the masterpiece of architect Peter Matkovitch, of Peter Matkovich and Hayes the world renowned South African architectural practice.

Situated between the mountains and the sea in an undulating landscape interspersed with lakes, streams and tropical trees, the championship course (Par 72) which is both technically challenging and varied, provides golfers with unique possibilities for a game with exceptional moments and memories.

It consists of 2 loops of 9 holes each. The 9 hole outside loop is 3,210m long while the inside loop is 3,297m long: the 3 by 3 vary from 140m to 200m, the 4 by 4 from 320m to 430m, the 4 by 5 from 490m to 520m. In addition, a mashie course has been created, a 9 hole par 3 course, ideal both for beginners as well as for more advanced golfers wanting to perfect their game. It is sited at the heart of the 18 hole course.

The numerous facilities at the “Golf du Château” include a putting green, a chipping green and a driving range. Golfers can enjoy both their game as well as physical exercise and can opt for either a motorised golf buggy or take an enjoyable stroll around the course. Golf carts and caddies are of course provided for the golfers should they require them.

Two qualified professionals are responsible for the operations of the golf course and can offer beginners lessons which can be videoed for extra learning potential. Finally, there is a restaurant as well as a bar, manned by courteous high quality staff to receive the players for a moment of well earned relaxation after a good game.

General Conditions:

• The PREMIUM package is applicable as from Check-in on the arrival day until Check-out at 2.00 pm on the departure day.
• No compensation of any kind will be offered for non consumed items from the PREMIUM package.
• All clients that have chosen the PREMIUM package may benefit from the above detailed advantages personally and individually. At no time may a PREMIUM client offer these advantages to a non PREMIUM client. Should a PREMIUM client wish to offer one of the advantages (spa, sports, golf, food and beverage) to a non PREMIUM client, this will be charged to his account at the public rate.
• All Bills must be signed by the PREMIUM client in order to simplify the billing process.
• Items bought from the hotel’s Boutique, individual items such as laundry, telephone calls will be charged to the client’s account.

Food & Beverage Conditions

• All Food must be consumed at the restaurants of the resort only, except for room service orders, for which guests must consult the Private menu placed in room. Champagne is not included in the room service menu and can only be consumed at the bars of the resorts.
• One gourmet dinner is included at either Le Chateau de Bel Ombre excluding beverages (Set Menu) or one gourmet dinner at the " La Compagnie des Comptoirs" for all stays of less than 10 nights. For all stays of 10 nights and more, 2 gourmet dinners are fine dining restaurant " La Compagnie des Comptoirs" and the other one at Le Chateau de Bel Ombre excluding beverages (set menu) to experience the heritage of a colonial past.
• Meals taken at the Golf Club restaurant will be charged over and above the PREMIUM package.
• The French Champagne has been selected by the hotel.
• Premium Brand drinks do not include 12 years spirits and above.
• The Prestige cellar list is not included in the PREMIUM package
• It is strongly recommended to pre-book the fine-dining restaurant upon arrival.
• The hotel reserves the right to close one of the restaurants (without compensation) for renovation, bad weather cyclone, occasional private functions... In such a situation, customers will be invited to dine in another restaurant resort.

Spa Seven Colours Conditions

• All treatments included in the PREMIUM package will be pre-scheduled by the hotel in agreement with the client’s wishes following the consultation meeting on the day of arrival. The treatments will be shared between 20 min and 45 min treatments as proposed on the spa
• Treatments will be offered daily except on arrival & departure days.

Water and Land Activities Conditions

• Diving is not permitted less than 24 hours after and prior to air travel and is subject to good weather conditions.
• Diving sessions will be scheduled by the diving operator.
• A diving insurance is included in the operator’s service.
• Pre-bookings for the diving can only be made for 2 consecutive days.
• The third dive can only be booked after the second dive upon availability.
• Apart from the excursion in the Valriche Nature Reserve, outdoor excursions are not included in the PREMIUM package.
