Both Turnberry Isle's courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and are among the finest in Florida. Both courses have recently been renovated to the exacting standards that have won Turnberry numerous golf awards including Links Magazine's Best of Golf Award and Golf Magazine's Silver Medal Award.
South Course at Turnberry Isle Resort & Club & North Course at Turnberry Isle Resort & Club
The South Course is a challenging course, mainly due to it's many
lakes, large bunkers and trees. It measures up to 7,003 yards depending on the
tees you play from, and the 18th has become famous for being one of the toughest
finishing holes in golf. It is a tough par-5, after a long drive off the tee,
players must try to find a way to make it to the island green without a
disaster.
The shorter North Course is a challenge as well, especially when the wind
blows off the ocean.
