Atlantico
This is the largest room in the Hotel Palacio, seating 400 people at
a banquet and accommodating 500 for a meeting, it has been used for meetings and
other events of great national and international importance.
Its unusually attractive decor and the abundance of natural light, thanks to the
windows overlooking the garden, make this the ideal venue for conferences,
banquets or receptions with a large number of participants.
Europa
In this elegant reception room, the architecture and decoration in
classical European style are ideally suited for medium-sized banquets, cocktail
parties or meetings, with a comfortable yet distinguished ambience.
Imperial
Regarded as the finest room in the Hotel because of its elegant
architectural design, the Imperial room provides a superb setting for receptions
or prestigious social events.
Richly decorated in marble, crystal chandeliers, paintings and tapestries, the
room opens out through French windows onto a charming terrace.
Park Suite
Accommodating 150 persons, the Park Suite is fully equipped to
meet the highest standards of comfort and technology. With the possibility of
dividing the space into two separate rooms ,for around 100 and 50 persons
respectively, the Park Suite's Foyer is perfectly suited for secretarial
services and refreshment buffets, with its own private restroom facilities.
A direct access from the street allows for bulky and heavy materials and
equipment to be carried directly into the room.
Tropical
This room rivals all the others with its striking deco and
comfortable furnishings. Decorated with trompe l'oeil effects evoking tropical
scenes and spectacular furniture, the Tropical room is the ideal venue for
meetings, working lunches and gala dinners with a moderate number of
participants.
Bridge
Opening through glass doors onto the terrace of the Hotel's gardens,
this comfortable room provides the ideal setting for meetings and private
dinners with a small number of participants.
Lucien Donnat
The Palacio's most recent room is mostly used for meetings for a
moderate number of people, yet it offers all the grace and comfort of the other
rooms in the Hotel.
Located on the ground floor, it was named after the famous Interior Architect
who was responsible for the admirable transformation in the hotel during the
last 50 years, to preserve and actually improve its position as a Grande Dame of
the European and worldwide hotel industry.
Sintra
Easy to find on the mezzanine, the Sintra room is lit by four
large windows allowing for generous natural light. This pleasant room is fitted
with up-to-date technology, making it extremely popular for courses, seminars
and meetings.
Eden
This small and intimate room at the Hotel Palacio offers the
privacy needed for meetings with a maximum of 12 participants.
Gardens & Terraces
The private garden of the hotel Palacio, with its large and
excellent swimming pool, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy time off during
breaks, before and after meetings and conferences.
The large terraces around the sunny garden form an inviting venue for lunches,

Restaurant Grill Four Seasons

Hardly surprising, as the hotel’s elegant ambience, not to mention the
traditional hospitality, evoke all the splendour and charm of Estoril’s golden
era.
Built the 1930, Hotel Palacio today still enjoys many of the refined features of
the period. The hotel’s unique atmosphere inspires all who walk through its
doors, from its impressive facade and beautifully landscaped gardens to its
classically styled interiors.
Throughout its rich history Hotel Palacio has welcomed famous visitors from
around the world. Guests include numerous heads of state, film stars, sports
personalities and royalty. In fact, the Prince of Japan and his wife were among
the first guests, enjoying their honeymoon in one of the sumptous suites.
During World War II, with Portugal’s neutrality, Estoril was a haven for
European royalty, and became known as the “Coast of Kings”. Hotel Palacio
was home to various royals, but was also frequented by both British and German
spies, who often met for drinks at the Estoril Bar. Later, these stories of
intrigue and espionage inspired various famous books and films, with the hotel
providing a stage for the James Bond movie, “On Her Majesty’s Secret
Service”.
Hotel Palacio has since benefitted from several refurbishments and renovations.
Today, it offers all the modern comforts and conveniences of an exclusive five
star resort, but always with the greatest care to preserve the hotel’s unique
classical heritage.

At Estoril Golf, one of Portugal’s oldest and
most emblematic courses, and host of many prestigious events, guests can enjoy a
spectacular round of golf in the most beautiful surroundings.
Owned by the Hotel Palacio and designed by the famous architect Mackenzie Ross,
this stunning 18 hole course is a par 69 with 5313 metres, surrounded by
colourful flora, including mimosas, pine and eucalyptus trees.
An excellent 9 hole course provides the perfect
location for less experienced players to develop their skills.
Hotel guests enjoy green fees at a special rate.
