The Grand Hotel Rimini : the perfect setting for congresses, conferences,
seminars, training courses and incentive programmes.
In a green oasis of silence, seconds from the sea, the Grand Hotel's congress
centre , – built in 1992 and completely renovated in 2000 - offers 7
multipurpose rooms for a total of 630 persons. A further 7 rooms in the Grand
Hotel add to a total of up to 900 persons.
An ideal design to guarantee the highest level of efficiency and project flexibility, the state-of-the-art technology in this field, and all the advantages of an incomparable location where an event or meeting become a moment of pleasure and of infinite opportunities.
With the Formula Grandi Soluzioni, and thanks to WI-FI technology, a meeting, a training course, or a video-conference can be organized on the beach: coffee breaks, cocktails, business lunches and gala dinners are entirely made to measure.

Banquets
An atmosphere of class enhanced by precious crystal chandeliers that cast a
delicate light on the antique furniture of the ancient ballroom... Glasses are
raised for a toast to happiness, whilst the dishes exhale the perfume of a
simple but refined and delicious cuisine. Faces finally relax and the pleasure
of being together triumphs. In the rooms of the Grand Hotel this always happens,
for little and big numbers - up to 650 people.

Congress Centre
The Congress Centre of the Grand Hotel is a modern building set apart from the
Hotel. It was built in 1992 and completely updated in 2003. It can hold 630
participants and has a room for plenary sessions with places for 350 people.
Terrace
The large terrace of the Grand Hotel overlooks the splendid private park and
grounds - 4,000m².
The terrace and gardens offer a perfect setting the setting for concerts, summer
dinner parties, cocktails, wedding receptions, and for a variety of fashionable
occasions and those special celebrations.

The Grand Hotel Rimini was designed by the South American architect Paolo Somazzi, under the guidance of the “Società Milanese Alberghi, Ristoranti e Affini” (Milan Hotel and Restaurant Company) It was inaugurated on July 1st 1908.
A serious fire destroyed the two decorative domes which adorned the roof in July 1920: the domes were never replaced. The hotel, badly damaged during the war, was reconstructed in the 1950s.
As a child, Federico Fellini oved the Grand Hotel so much that he decided to immortalize it in some of his most famous films that gave the hotel a worldwide fame : particularly “Amarcord” (I remember) where the inimitable and fascinating atmosphere of the Grand Hotel are the background to some of the most memorable scenes.
The rooms are still decorated with Venetian and French antiques of the XVIII century, the original wooden floor (parquet) and the Venetian chandeliers have been restored; whilst in the restaurant and the other banqueting rooms, the furniture, the paintings and the lights reinforce the original atmosphere of the past.
In 1994 the Grand Hotel Rimini was recognized as a national monument and it is under the protection of the Superintendent of Fine Arts. Next to the Grand Hotel, stands the Conference Centre. Built in 1992 and equipped with state-of-the-art technological equipment, it is open all year long to host meetings and conferences at national and international level.
After a few management changes along the years, in 2002 the Grand Hotel Rimini was taken over by Advance Hotel, a young hotel management company founded by two hotel families (The Jannotta family from Castione della Presolana-Bergamo and the Bernardi family from Rimini). Today, the Grand Hotel Rimini is proud to belong to the new brand Exclusive Hotels of Italy.
