The Chateau Eza Hotel is an enchanting Hotel and Restaurant tucked away in one of the most exciting sites on the Cote d'Azur. Pretty as a postcard, the Chateau clings to the side of the ancient rock walls of Eze, a thousand-year-old medieval Village more than 1,300 feet above the Mediterranean Sea. It is a Castle of stone on a narrow cobblestone street, too small for modern day automobiles. The Hotel is located 12km from Nice, 7km from Monaco, 40km from Cannes, 5km from Monte Carlo, 18km from the International Airport and 5km from the nearest beach.

The Chateau Eza Hotel was built 400 years ago within the ancient city walls of the 9th century Village of Eze. In modern times, Chateau Eza Hotel served as the summer residence for Prince William of Sweden from 1923-1953. As an author, he did much of his writing in this location. His father Gustav V and his brother, Gustav Adolf, were both Kings of Sweden. The present King of Sweden, Carl Gustav, is Prince William's nephew.
The modern comforts of Chateau Eza Hotel did not come easily or inexpensively. Andre Rochat, the Swiss owner from 1976 until the end of 1993, did not simply put on an open for business sign. Before he opened his private residence to guests in 1985, he completely modernized and renovated the premises. All the construction materials had to be brought up the steep winding streets, 1,300 feet above the sea by donkeys which are still present to greet guests. The result was truly a masterpiece for all to enjoy.
The refurbishing by Enchanted Escapes is being done with the intention of preserving and honouring the many centuries of history and hard work that proceeded.

Each of the 10 Guest Rooms can be reached by walking under stone passageways, past cave-like shops and Restaurants, and via ancient stone steps and walkways which lead to the individual doorways of the chambers and suites. All Guest Rooms have been newly decorated with modern comforts. Most accommodations feature private balconies with breathtaking views and many have charming old- fashioned fireplaces for the ultimate romantic experience.

- La Suite Medievale: A Suite comprising of Bedroom with King sized Bed, large Sitting Room with ancient stone walls and Fireplace, Balcony facing the Mediterranean Sea and medieval Castle decor.
- La Suite Royale: A large Room with King sized Bed, Balcony with view of the Mediterranean Sea and decor of Royal elegance reminiscent of the Swedish Royalty who once slept here.
- La Chambre Panoranique: The highest secluded Room of Chateau Eza Hotel with spectacular view Terrace, rustic open beam ceiling and charming stone Fireplace.
- La Suite Provencale: A two story Suite with country charm, overlooking the sea and the Village rooftops, King sized Bed and Sofa Bed for an extra person.
- La Suite aux Deux Cheminees: A Bedroom and Sitting Room each with a stone Fireplace, twin Beds, Sofa Bed which can accommodate an extra person and Terrace overlooking the mountains and the sea.
- La Chambre Jardin: A dramatic Room with high ceilings, arched columns, an extraordinary King sized ironwork Bed, an outdoor Garden theme including a Balcony with a view.
- La Chambre Romantique: A small romantic Room with canopied Bed, cosy Fireplace and Balcony for two.
- La Chambre Marie Antoinette: An atmosphere of Louis XVI with Bedroom and Dressing area fit for a Queen.
