The Hotel is located in the city of Jerez de la Frontera in the province of Cádiz , Spain. It is situated just off the A4 motorway from Seville to Cádiz and it is only 10 minutes away from the town centre.
Jerez Airport is just 10 minutes away with direct flights from London Stansted with Buzz Company. The main cities of Germany have flights to Jerez during the whole year. Depending on the season, there are as well from Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam and Geneve. Rest of the cities of Europe and intercontinental flights are connected via Madrid and Barcelona.
Iberia and Spanair have 6 daily flights from Madrid to Jerez. There are also flights from Barcelona to Jerez.
Seville airport is just 50 minutes away by motorway to Montecastillo and it has direct regular flights from the most important cities in Europe and via Madrid and Barcelona from other countries of the world. Iberia and Bristish Airways have daily direct flights from London. S.N. Brussels Airlines also flies daily from Brussels. Air France and Iberia from Paris. Crossair flies from Geneve, etc, etc..
Apart from Jerez and Seville, the nearest airport to Jerez is Gibraltar, wich has direct flights From UK operated by G.B. Airways. It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes from this airport to Montecastillo.
Train: The Talgo direct train from Madrid to Jerez. The Ave (fast Train) from Madrid takes only 2 hours 20 minutes to Seville.

Next to the Hotel is the magnificent Castle, built in the early 1900's. It accommodates some of the Meeting Rooms. Montecastillo has a total of 14 fully equipped Meeting Rooms hosting from 12 to 300 delegates. A new Business Centre has been inaugurated in September 2002. It holds 3 Exhibition Rooms with a total surface of 406m2, gallery for expositions and separate entrance Hall. The Meeting Rooms have a special entrance for vehicles or large products, and are equipped with the latest audiovisual technologies.
The Castle houses three natural style Andalucian Banqueting Rooms on two floors, to satisfy most requirements.
Bespoke Facilities: The spacious grounds of Montecastillo, allow the construction of a bespoke auditorium making it ideal for new product Launches, Galas and Incentive Conferences. With the nearby Grand Prix Circuit, automotive companies such as BMW, Rover, Porsche, Ferrari etc, find it to be the ideal Venue and location.

El Lagar: The Hotel's own El Lagar Restaurant offers the very best in traditional Andalusian cuisine as well as a choice of international dishes. Only fresh local produce is used and specially selected daily. Also an exclusive selection of quality local and Spanish wines are included in its wine list.

Montecastillo Catering is a select service that independently operates
throughout the province of Cadiz.The service and product quality of
Montecastillo Catering can be enjoyed in a variety of places such as wineries,
palaces and country homes as well as in places like the Casa Palacio de
Benavente in Jerez se la Frontera. A top quality array of wines made from
locally and nationally grown grapes are included on the carefully selrected wine
list, which is offered at both restaurants and by Montecastillo Catering.

The Montecastillo Hotel & Golf Resort, has 220 Rooms with a total capacity up to 450 people. The Hotel and Suites are tastefully decorated in the most traditional andalousian style, with a touch of elegance and simplicity, in total harmony with the surroundings. The Villas next to the Hotel, have a total of 32 Rooms. All of them have a lounge, small kitchen and terrace or garden. The new Business Centre was inaugurated in September 2002, with 48 twin Rooms and Junior Suite. It holds its own Reception, Bar and Restaurant.
In addition, the new Villas have 18 Bedrooms, which surround a small square with a fountain, ideal for small corporate meetings or golf groups.With this new capacity, events up to 450 people can be organised, but at the same time we offer the possibility of organises conventions, presentations... for reduced groups on an exclusive basis, using the new facilities of Montecastillo Business Centre.
Villas: Adjacent to the Hotel are twenty Villas with a total of 32 Rooms on two floors, fully integrated into the natural surroundings of the area. All the Villas overlook the 18th fairway of the Jack Nicklaus designed Golf course. Facilities include:

- Golf: The 18-hole championship golf course is designed by Jack Nicklaus, who describes it as one of his best. It is a test of golf for the most accomplished players but is equally enjoyable to all golfers. With over 3000 hours of sunshine per year, the Hotel Montecastillo is becoming a favourite place to play golf. The course is situated in approx. 395 acres, with a typical Andalusian landscape for the golfer to enjoy a scenic round of golf. Following the first Volvo Masters in 1997 Montecastillo has invested over 1,200,000 Euros in a technical and aesthetic renovation plan. This has included the planting of 100 year old olive trees, the installation of a new drainage system, introducing Marmolada sand in the bunkers and new machinery for the maintenance of the golf course.
- Football: The two professional Football Pitches at Montecastillo and training areas, constructed in consultation with Manchester Utd and the Spanish Football team, are becoming renowned as the finest in Europe. Already, a number of professional teams like Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint Germain and Real Betis have trained at Montecastillo and all of them have complimented the Resort on the excellence and quality of the playing surfaces and the training facilities.This is one of the few Resorts in Europe where everything is on site. The pitches are literally only four hundred metres from the Hotel and Clubhouse. The new Changing Rooms, fully equipped with showers, a small conference Room and private managers office are situated right next to the training areas.
- Spa: The new Health & Fitness Centre at Montecastillo, provides everything one would expect from a five star Hotel. As well as an indoor Heated Pool, there is a Jacuzzi, Solarium, Dry and Steam Saunas, Gymnasium and Massage areas.
