The resort put into operation the International Convention Palace to satisfy the growing M.I.C.E market with an increasing number of meetings and incentive groups selecting central Vietnam.
The facility is set in the resort’s lush tropical garden. The 2,500 square metre convention centre has the largest conference hall in the Central Vietnam plus five other smaller conference rooms to seat up to 500 people.
The Convention Palace is equipped with the most up-to-date communication technologies for international conferences and meetings, such as high-speed internet access, audio-visual systems and modern translation equipment. An environmentally-friendly air-conditioning system has been installed to keep the centre comfortable all year round.
The centre’s opening was marked by the Asia Pacific Economic Forum Senior Officials Meeting III, with 45 meetings held over 10 days in mid-September 2006. The Furama Resort Da Nang prepared the logistics for meetings and provided care and comfort for 1,500 delegates from 21 member economies. The International Convention Palace has also been the venue for a series of ASEAN Ministers’ Meetings in 2010.
The Furama Resort Da Nang track record proves it to be an ideal place for international meetings, as well as a relaxing haven for tourists. In more than a decade of operation, the resort has been selected to host dignitaries and VIPs and some of the world’s important events. It was consecutively voted the best resort in Vietnam by local and international magazines.
Da Nang Grand Ballroom
Da Nang grand ballroom features the largest and most advanced international convention centre in the Central Vietnam. At full capacity the Grand Ballroom houses 800 delegates for meetings and 600 for banquets
Gallery Rooms
The Gallery Rooms can accommodate receptions of up to 120 people, with table set-up dining for up to 80 people and meetings for up to 100 people. The meeting room is full of natural light when the doors open to the terrace viewing the resort’s lagoon.
Ocean Room
The Ocean Room is located on the upper level of the main pavilion. It can accommodate receptions of up to 450 people, with table set-up dining for up to 300 people and seminars for up to 220 people
Business Centre
To keep in close touch with your business, The Business Centre offers the latest communications facilities as well as work stations, desktop computers and printers, a small private meeting room and a full range of business and secretarial services. High-speed Internet access is available from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Café Indochine
This is the Furama’s signature restaurant, an Asian-style brassiere
recalling the nostalgia of the French colonial period with its rattan furniture,
ceiling fans, French windows and old photographs and memorabilia on the walls.
By day, it is a bright, cheerful place for light snacks, while at night it turns
more romantic and features Vietnamese cultural performances. Guests can savor a
wide range of international and pan-Asian cuisines served by waitresses in
traditional ao dai outfits. There is an exotic menu of Vietnamese, Chinese,
Malay, Thai, Indian and Indonesian favorites prepared in the open show kitchens
or over the barbecue.

Hai Van Lounge
Guests enjoy cocktails and light snacks in a very relaxed colonial setting
decorated with cane chairs and carved Vietnamese furniture. A pianist entertains

Lagoon Bar
Located beside the Lagoon Pool, The Lagoon Bar is a lush, tropical oasis for
colorful cocktails, long drinks and light snacks.

The open bar, sets in a beautiful ocean front setting, serves a wide variety
of refreshing drinks, cocktails and alcoholic treats.

a peaceful, poolside setting for al fresco dining. A Mediterranean-inspired menu

services and courses for beginners to the more
experienced diver seeking new and exciting challenges.
Open from March to October each year, the Dive Base
conducts a comprehensive range of internationally
recognized courses for the beginner and advanced diver.

Stop by the Water Sport House where our experienced
staff are waiting to assist or train you in the use of
any of the equipment. Catamaran Sailing, Windsurfing,

Children Activities
A Children’s Room is free of charge and available
daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. where the experienced
Babysitter will watch after your little ones and keep
them entertained throughout the day. A babysitter can
also be arranged in your room after 6 if you need more
private time. For older children there is a playground
located on the beach as well as a host of beach games
for them to enjoy.
The Joy Paradise Club
Located on a square of 1,200 meters, Furama’s Joy
Paradise Club is the first only gaming center in the
central Vietnam. The Joy Paradise Club offers affordable
facilities, including 40 slot machines, 01 Karaoke
lounge, 3 KTV rooms, one roulette, a cigar bar and a
night club. The KTV will open for Vietnamese and
foreigners of all ages and the gaming center’s entry is
for guests above 18 years old. The Joy Paradise Club
opens from 11 a.m to 2 a.m daily. They provide a
