Faro International Airport is 25 kilometres (16 miles) from the Dom Pedro Hotels, and guests usually arrive by rented car, taxi, or a shuttle bus which is normally provided by guests' travel companies.

Meeting planners and incentive buyers can find a wealth of diverse activities
and venues to suit their programme of events from beach activities, watersports
or golf, to the buzzing nightlife, restaurants of the cosmopolitan marina,
thronging casinos in Vilamoura and host large-scale events at Vilamoura’s second
biggest meeting facility the Dom Pedro Forum Conference Centre, providing 550m2
of pillar-free space for up to 450 delegates theatrestyle, plus an additional
three smaller meeting spaces.
Dom Pedro Golf Resort Hotel has two conference rooms offering space for 80
delegates theatre-style.
Delegates can also make use of the beautiful gardens surrounding the centre for
coffee breaks and seminar sessions, while a cafeteria and clock room are also
provided. Delegates can be accommodated at any of the hotel group’s three
neighboring properties.

Bougainvillea Restaurant
Located on the Lobby level, this fascinating restaurant serves exquisite
cuisine, buffet and à la carte. It is designed as a recreation of a typical
Portuguese patio, with intimate lighting and terracotta tones, providing a
pleasant ambience.
Mimosa Grill
This is the hotel's 'al fresco' restaurant, situated beside the lush
gardens on the same level as the swimming pool. Amid plants and flowers, it is
the ideal summer venue for our grilled specialities, with lots of cooling
sangria.
Gazebo Pool Bar
Located by the swimming pool and the hotel's spreading lawns and
gardens, this bar offers a very relaxing atmosphere, with its wicker furniture
and oversized parasols. This is the ideal place to have a snack, a delicious
salad, a refreshment, our renowned fresh fruit and vegetable juices, or an
exotic cocktail.
In summer, the Gazebo Pool Bar is where the hotel's evening entertainments are
put on.
Alambique Bar
Located in the hotel's immense Lobby, this bar offers a very special atmosphere:
restful during the day with its soft pastel decoration, at night the Alambique
becomes the hub of the hotel's entertainment. Daily live music tempts guests
onto the dance floor, while the bar's quieter corners are perfect for reading a
book and enjoying your favourite drink.

All rooms are air-conditioned, with a minibar, safe (rentable), satellite TV, radio, direct dial telephone with modem scart, and bathroom amenities.
Twin Rooms
Located on the 1st to 5th floors, these rooms include a private bathroom,
terracotta tiled floors, two twin beds and a dressing table. The sitting area
leads out onto a private balcony overlooking the gardens or the ocean.
Triple Rooms
Located on the top floor, these suites have three beds, with a fully
equipped bathroom. No balcony.
Family Rooms
The Family rooms have two bedrooms, with a fully equipped bathroom. The
separate living room leads out onto a private sun deck overlooking the gardens.
Club Rooms
In May 2002, Dom Pedro Hotels introduced a new guest room concept called
'Club rooms', offering a selection of superior rooms, either in Lisbon, Madeira
and the Algarve. All Club rooms feature extra amenities such as a minibar,
hairdryer, bathrobe, VIP treatment on arrival and turndown service. Dom Pedro's
resort hotels offer the added benefits of a sea-view balcony and a reservable
poolside sunlounger.
Club rooms are located on the top floors of the Dom Pedro hotels, enjoying
private balconies with lovely views. All are decorated and equipped to a
consistently high standard.
Club Room Amenities:
Direct dial telephone, satellite television with 12 channels, electric power at
220V, personal safe (rentable), air conditioning, central heating, emergency
pull-cord facility, minibar, hairdryer, bathrobe, VIP treatment on arrival,
turndown service, laundry service and in-room Internet access. Your place in the
dining room may be reserved, as may a sun lounger by the pool.
Junior Suites
These one-bedroom suites include a private bathroom, terracotta tiled floors, a
separate sitting room with sofa and a marble-topped dressing table with
hairdryer. The sitting area leads out onto a spacious private balcony
overlooking the gardens or the ocean.
Suites
Located on the top floor The new suites of the Hotel Dom Pedro Golf
have a modern and charming design inspired in a Zen environment: angular and
minimalist shapes mostly in two tones enhancing the outside view. Located in the
upper floor of the Hotel, the suites have between 40 to 80 square meters.
Although having different shapes, all suites have a common characteristic: an
astonishing terrace view over the sea and Vilamoura. All suites have tv and
mini-bar and the wide living rooms and the bedrooms are equipped with king size
beds, individual air conditioned, tv, full equipped bathrooms and wide terraces
with sea view.

Opportunities for sport in Vilamoura are not confined to golf and water
sports.

several sports centres where you can play squash & shooting, badminton, do
bodybuilding, swimming, aerobics, among many other activities...
The Algarve is renowned for some of the world's finest championship golf courses
- and Vilamoura offers five of them all within the resort. All of 18 holes or
more each superbly designed. These attract dedicated players and champions
worldwide -and are host to numerous prestigious tournaments, several televised.
